 Hi, my name is Daniel Ong. After graduating from the Singapore Management University with Summa Cum Laude (Highest Distinction), I joined the Public Service, where I served across various government agencies, including in the Planning Division of MOE. While in service, I was appointed into the Public Service Leadership Programme, a talent programme for future leaders in the Public Service. Through the course of my work, I saw that employers were increasingly favouring employees who could apply their skills meaningfully over those with only paper qualifications. I realised that there was an urgent need to help our future generation succeed in such an environment, and decided to leave my comfortable government job to start DO Applied Learning, as it was the most flexible way for me to make a meaningful difference for our children. |
