 I studied in NUS Mechanical Engineering under a Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) scholarship from 1997 to 2001. After obtaining a First Class Honours degree and being placed in the Vice Chancellor's List, I continued to pursue my Master of Engineering. As a graduate tutor in 2001-2002, I was responsible for assisting the professor in guiding the entire cohort of Mechanical Engineering batch for 3 consecutive semesters (1.5 years). I took the undergraduates for tutorials, laboratory experiments, and managed their online quizzes and portal. Upon graduating in 2003, I returned to DSTA to serve my scholarship bond. Due to my passion in teaching, I chose to leave DSTA in 2007. Over the years, my students range from neighbourhood school kids, to those from top Integrated Program (IP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) schools (NUSH/RI/HCI/RGS/NYGH/DHS/ACSI).
