Mrs Michelle Tan is known to be an energetic, caring and engaging teacher who never fails to bring the classroom alive with her bubbly personality and lively discussions. A mother of 2 herself, she understands that parents want their kids to be under the tutelage of a competent teacher who prioritises life skills, real world applications and good values. She values every student she teaches and makes a genuine effort to understand their individual strengths and weaknesses in learning Economics. An experienced teacher with her last key appointment as Education Consultant/Economics in Hwa Chong Institution, she has coordinated both the H1 and H2 curriculum. She is the only private full-time tutor who has been trained directly by the Cambridge assessors and ready for the new A Levels Syllabus assessed in 2017-2018. She is the author of the “A Comprehensive Guide to Economics” – a guidebook for the new syllabus and the book is widely available at all major Popular bookstores. To top it off, Mrs Michelle Tan has experience teaching the IB syllabus in Hwa Chong International School. |
