2022 Domain of Singapore Tutoring Experts' List of "Exotic" Public Studying Areas |
---|
After two whole painful years of grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic, Singapore appears (well, hopefully) to be nearing the light at the end of the tunnel on the back of a high vaccination rate cum visibly dwindling caseloads, given everyone can now return to their workplaces, social distancing protocols get rolled back and mask wearing becomes optional when outdoors among other things. Still, never say never again insofar as another crazy-ass virus variant devastating our way of life once more is concerned, therefore fingers tightly crossed amidst us forging ahead with a spirited albeit cautious return toward true normalcy. So for those of you students raring once more to seek an alternative study environment beyond the darn stifling confines called home, here's unveiling our meticulously put together list that touts untraditional but nevertheless snug enough locales folks can settle into for revision, truly. 1. Blk 80 Circuit Road Market & Food Centre, Level 2 Come nightfall, the coast is clearer than clear, atmosphere serener than serene - as can be evinced from the photos themselves. Thus, do make haste while the moon shines. |
2. New Tech Park (NTP+), Level 2 Sited directly across from Lorong Chuan MRT station, this relatively new shopping mall hasn't quite geared up to become a crowd winner, which means you and your books are in for a whale of a (tranquil) time; in particular one picturesque, fully decked out open plaza orchestrated on the second floor will most surely elicit quivers of ooh la la. |
3. Tampines Central Park If being close to Mother Nature is your thing, come inhale this colossal green lung (happening right behind Our Tampines Hub and skirting nearly the entire Tampines Street 83) which features multiple walking trails, fruit-themed playgrounds, huge-assed amphitheater plus resting benches galore installed against grassy backdrops. The sweetest spot overall you ask? Probably 'em mangosteen querencias where you can "hibernate" within till you are done on the revision front, reemerging only thereafter. |
4. Fitness Hub @ Hong Kah North (Beside Blk 317 Bukit Batok Street 32) Possible white elephant alert - we witnessed nary a soul around during three separate stakeouts conducted. Hence us cordially inviting all y'all swotty amigos to head over and swot away, anytime.

Remember, always observe proper decorum when studying in these public areas; when you need to walk away, WALK AWAY. Being confrontational is pure stupidity. HAVE FUN, AND GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR TESTS/EXAMS! |
