Inappropriately violent content in primary school composition guide |

By Sikorsky Null  I would like to draw your attention to a particular English writing guide from Dolphin Publications ("Model Compositions For P5/6" By Alice Mendoza) which unequivocally crossed the line with its gratuitous depiction of violence regarding one such essay about kids being unfortunate witnesses to a murder. Appalling aside, I am befuddled how the requisite editorial vetting process failed to trigger alarm bells - or perhaps Dolphin doesn't even have any in place at all??? Please do help spread word around, the Ministry of Education certainly needs to be made cognizant of this serious faux pas and take necessary action ASAP. |
